The UK has its own marking regime, UKCA — but it did not replace CE for construction products. UKCA applies where a UK Approved Body assessed the product against a UK designated standard; CE where an EU Notified Body assessed it to EN 14351-1, and CE-marked construction products have been recognised in the UK indefinitely since the 2025 amendment regulations. What actually decides acceptance is security and thermal performance: PAS 24 is normally called up for easily accessible doors and windows by Approved Document Q (England) and by Secured by Design, and Part L sets the project thermal targets. We confirm the marking route before quoting.
